A beautiful wooden terrace is an eye-catcher in the garden and pleasant to walk on. But what is collecting under the terrace? Until now it was not possible to close the joints without accepting a steep gradient for water drainage and endangering the substructure due to a lack of ventilation. As a rule, the joint spacing should be around 7mm - wide enough for coarse dirt such as leaves, needles and plant seeds to penetrate. Even the disappearance of small everyday objects is always possible through these joints.
